This stage's profile is heavily downhill: 1053 m of loss against just 263 m of gain, with the day's high point of 1054 m reached early on. The terrain gradually softens as the granite relief of Bavella gives way to the wooded hills leading into Conca. It's a long, knee-testing descent after several days of accumulated effort.
Few water points on this stage: leave I Paliri with a sufficient reserve rather than counting on refills along the way.
Water & resupply. Water is scarce on this final stretch to Conca: better to set out with enough of a reserve than to rely on points along the way. Conca itself has food options and a shuttle to Porto-Vecchio, but a genuinely open grocery shop is not confirmed — don't count on it for resupply.
