The GR20 relies on twelve staffed refuges run by the Corsica Regional Nature Park, from north to south. Here is each one — altitude, distance, capacity and booking — to set your itinerary without surprises.

Understanding the PNRC refuges
All these refuges are staffed from 16 May to 4 October 2026 and must be booked on the official system, by date and place — whether you sleep in a dorm bunk, a PNRC tent or a bivouac. A sleeping bag is required (no blankets), and meals are ordered on site from the warden. Between these refuges, some nights are spent in private places (Vizzavona, Capannelle, the Cuscionu plateau) booked directly.
